I Asked an AI About My Finances Every Day for 30 Days

What happens when you give an AI assistant real-time access to your spending, income, and budgets, then ask it everything? I spent 30 days finding out.

Day 1: "Foxy, Where Does My Money Go?"

The first question anyone asks is also the most important. I typed it into Foxy (FoxyFi's AI assistant, powered by Gemini Flash) and got back a breakdown I'd never computed myself.

Foxy streamed the answer in real time, pulling from my actual transaction data: groceries at 28%, dining at 19%, transport at 14%. Category names matched my own spending habits, not some generic template.

Day 7: "Can I Afford This Trip?"

I was looking at flights for a 10-day trip. I asked Foxy whether my current savings rate and upcoming expenses made it realistic.

Foxy checked my balance, my scheduled recurring transactions, my budget headroom, and gave me a specific answer: "At your current pace, you'll have approximately €1,200 available by mid-July after recurring expenses. The trip costs €850. Feasible, with €350 buffer."

Not generic advice. Actual numbers.

"Not: 'You should save more.' But: 'You have €350 buffer. Book it.'"

Day 14: Logging Expenses by Voice

Foxy's Smart Quick Add changed how I log transactions. Instead of opening the app, tapping through menus, and entering amounts manually, I just speak.

"Coffee, 3 euros, this morning." Foxy parses the amount, date, and suggests the category. I confirm, and it's logged. The whole interaction takes 8 seconds.

Day 21: Uploading a Receipt PDF

I had a restaurant receipt I'd photographed but never logged. I uploaded the photo to Foxy. It extracted the date, total amount, merchant name, and suggested "Dining Out" as the category.

I corrected one field, confirmed, and the transaction appeared in my wallet history. No manual typing, no arithmetic.

Day 30: What Changed

After 30 days, three things changed:

1. I logged 94% of my expenses (my previous rate: ~40%) 2. My dining budget had a 23% reduction: not from restriction, but from visibility 3. I had 14 Foxy chat threads with actual financial decisions documented

Foxy isn't a chatbot that gives generic advice. It's an advisor that knows your numbers.
